This course is suitable for any voluntary or community group (volunteer, management committee member or worker) wanting to get involved in fundraising. Essential if your organisation doesn’t already have a fundraising group or plan.

This session is aimed at helping groups to fundraise for their organisation and the projects and activities they want to develop, with as little stress as possible. Groups will be able to confidently plan their fundraising effectively (we will give you a funding strategy template), sharing the burden and drawing on different skills and experience within the group. It will help you to assess your funding needs and identify a range of funding sources and fundraising methods (from grant funding to crowdfunding), and plan how to keep your fundraising on track.


Learning Outcomes:-

Plan your fundraising effectively.

Know which activities/projects will attract funding from which fundraising method.

Identify and share out fundraising tasks, with a time-table. Identify appropriate funding sources (including a look at the Leeds funding portal).
