This course is aimed at all staff and volunteers who do not work in a supervisory or management role but have a duty to pass on safeguarding concerns appropriately.

Course Description

This course looks at the potential causes and indicators of abuse, how to fulfill your duty to pass on any disclosures or allegations, and the feedback you can expect after making an alert. How to address any immediate safety or protection needs of the alleged adult at risk, and the recording of the incident in your workplace.

  • To establish a shared understanding of best working practice in offering support
  • To understand procedures in line with the Care Act when reporting abuse & procedures after an alert
