Covid-19 Community Champions - Safeguarding

This online Zoom session is aimed at Covd-19 Community Champions.

 

This session is part of the Covid-19 Community Champions Programme.

This is an interactive, online session and will offer a basic understanding of your responsibilities as a Covid-19 Community Champion towards both Children’s and Adult Safeguarding.

It will outline your responsibilities in law, and processes and procedures that it is important to follow to keep people safe.

The course will encourage discussion and group work, using real life scenarios. 

Learning outcomes

  • Understand the difference between Adult and Childrens safeguarding
  • Understand different kinds of abuse and how to recognise them
  • Learn how to frame questions in an open way
  • Learn how to record and report your concerns  

Zoom Online Training

Participants will need to download the Zoom app on their computer, full details will be emailed prior to the event, including all information on how to access the session.

Please note, this will be an interactive training course and participants will be encouraged to engage in the session.
