Meet Kathryn Hodges, Grants Adviser & Administrator for the Wades Charity, which gives grants to charities and constituted groups (voluntary/community organisations with a constitution) which meet at least one of the Trust’s objectives:

  1. recreational activities
  2. preservation of public open space

The Trust offers: Main grants over £300, (usually up to around £6,000) for registered charities and Small Grants up to £300 for constituted groups (you don’t need to be a registered charity to access small grants) and Covid Recovery Grants of up to £500 to small groups towards re-starting activities post lockdown. Applicants must be within the pre-1974 boundaries of Leeds (roughly LS1 – LS17). The Trust is particularly interested in applications that support Children & Young People, the Elderly, the wider Community, the Arts and Open Space and will consider applications supporting all or any section of the community

Kathryn will outline the criteria and application process of the Trust, giving tips on making a good application. To find out more about the Trust go to: Home page | Wade's Charity at the Heart of Leeds (wadescharity.org)  The event will be very informal and you will have the opportunity to ask Kathryn questions.
