This online session is aimed at people delivering Welcome Spaces but is open to anyone who might be working or volunteering in front line services. The session will provide information to help you signpost to mental health support and connect people to other local groups and services which support people with loneliness.

The training will focus on:

  • The MindWell website - the go-to online source for adult mental health and wellbeing support in Leeds. It offers clear, practical, and reliable information to promote understanding and acceptance, and help people find the right local support 24/7. MindWell is designed to be accessible to everyone, including those who do not have English as their first language and people with additional accessibility needs.

  • Leeds Directory – supporting Leeds Residents to live well by connecting them to checked and vetted local services and tradespeople and as well as local activities and events. Overview of the Leeds Directory website, including how to locate activities using postcodes and other routes to support.

The session has been designed in response to what Welcome Spaces have reported as being some of main issues that visitors present with.

Details of how and where to access printed resources will also be provided.
