West Yorkshire Learning Consortium

Organisation Aims and Activities: WYLC's aim is to advance the education of people in West Yorkshire. We do this by: Organising a representative forum for Community and Voluntary organisations involved with both providing and receiving education; Facilitating an effective dialogue between the C&V sectors and the West Yorkshire Learning & Skills Council; Encouraging collaboration between C&V organisations on issues of learning & skills development; Providing information to C&V organisations on issues of learning & skills development. The Consortium is a resource for the membership assimilating and disseminating information, strategic planning, partnership working, sign posting, skills and resource share. Membership of the WYLC is open to C&V sector organisations who must have either a voluntary Management Committee or voluntary Board of Directors/Trustees.
