Organisation Aims and Activities: Leeds People First is a self advocacy group where people with learning disabilities speak up for ourselves about things that affect our lives, so that we can make our own choices and decisions. Aims of the group: To help people with learning disabilities to speak up for ourselves; To share experiences and information; To help each other do new things in our lives; At our meetings we talk about news, transport, our rights, services. We provide training courses on self-advocacy, give talks, run workshops at conferences.
