CHIVA (Children in Vulnerable Accommodation)

Organisation Aims and Activities: The Children in Vulnerable Accommodation (CHIVA) Project aims to help children and young people to achieve the five outcomes that are in the Children's Act 2004: to be healthy, to stay safe, to enjoy and achieve, to make a positive contribution and to achieve economic wellbeing. CHIVA provides early intervention and preventative support to children and young people up to the age of 19 who are: homeless (living in hostels or emergency accommodation, living in women's refuge accommodation), Traveller, Roma and Gypsy communities, Runaways, Refugees and Asylum seekers.
