Headway Leeds - the brain injury association

Organisation Aims and Activities: Headway Leeds is a local branch of Headway-the brain injury association and is run by a small committee of volunteers who are brain injury survivors, unpaid carers and interested professionals. Membership is free. If you would like to keep up to date with any news and events, please contact us to request a Membership form. Our main aim is to organise monthly social activities for those who have sustained an injury, their carers, families and friends, to reduce the feeling of isolation many feel. We also welcome interested professionals. As a branch of Headway UK we do not receive funding other than individual donations or our own fundraising activities. We do not have any paid staff and so unfortunately are not able to provide support workers and are not able to offer voluntary work placements.
