Burmantofts Community Projects / Money Buddies
To provide advice on debt, money management, the advancement of financial education, the relief of poverty and enhance wellbeing, we will: - Encourage and facilitate financial literacy in schools, including the publication of stories for children - Provide a focus for study and research on ways of addressing the wider social implications of poverty and debt in communities - Seek ways of reducing social exclusion and isolation, empowering people to participate in society - Encourage a culture of volunteering - Provide a learning hub where skills in money management and social and interpersonal relationships can be acquired.
