North Hyde Park Neighbourhood Association
Organisation Aims and Activities: NHPNA's aim is to maintain, and if possible improve the quality of life for all the residents in the area of Headingley bordered by Ashwood Villas, the Meanwood Ridge, City of Leeds School and Woodhouse Moor. The Association holds it's A.G.M. In October/November at whatever local community venue is available; and at least three social events, with barbecue, at Christmas, Easter, and Bonfire Night. In the open space off Grosvenor Road, now commonly called 'Dagmar'. These events are open to all-comers, whether members or not. The Committee meets six times annually, in the home of one of it's members. These meetings are in principle private, though requests to be in attendance are normally granted.
