Organisation Aims and Activities: Promotion of higher standards of moral life in individual, family, community; those in need of help for example people addicted to drink, drugs, gambling; relief of distress arising from delinquency, intemperance or addiction. Trustees meet quarterly; allocate grants to those within current criteria. The Council also owns two approved premises in the Leeds area, which it runs in partnership with the Ministry of Justice and West Yorkshire Probation Service.
