Script Yorkshire
Organisation Aims and Activities: Script Yorkshire is a networking organisation for people who live or work in Yorkshire and write for performance (including stage, radio, TV, on-line and film). We promote the professional development of writers-for-performance by: Raising craft skills via meetings, workshops and showcases; Sharing information via our newsletter, email bulletins and website; Creating links between writers, actors and directors; Joint projects with local theatres. Script Yorkshire is run by volunteers. We have regional branch meetings and are currently holding central meetings at a variety of locations in Leeds city centre, such as the West Yorkshire Playhouse and the Carriageworks Theatre. Please contact us for details. Membership costs ?40 a year waged & ?20 a year unwaged.
