Together Women Project

Organisation Aims and Activities: TWP provides holistic support services for women and girls with multiple and complex issues across Yorkshire, Humberside and the North West of England. We have women's centres in Leeds, Bradford, Hull, Sheffield and HMP New Hall, as well as a social enterprise scheme at HMP Askham Grange. Our centres offer safe, women-only spaces from which key workers and sessional staff provide needs assessment, action-planning, support and case management for women referred by a number of different agencies. Centres also provide a wide range of group programmes, sessional training, workshops and self-help groups. Women can access mentoring support from trained peer mentors (former customers) and are encouraged towards personal growth and development. Our centres host co-located staff from other agencies (e.g. probation, alcohol/drug treatment, housing etc.) and we work closely with statutory partners in criminal justice, health and social care.
