Amici Singers

Organisation Aims and Activities: This is a community based choir of mixed voices who just want to make music together. We have members from all over North Leeds and some from further flung areas. There are no auditions and members do not have to read music. Some people are experienced singers but for many it is the first time they have sung in a choir. We have a mixed repertoire of part songs from early music, through spiritual and folk songs to songs from the shows and in a ligher vein. All our concerts are in aid of charities or other good causes and take plac in churches and hall around Leeds as well as on our annual holidays. We have low fees and there is an opportunity for new singers to try us out for no fee. The choir prides itself on its friendly atmosphere and its support for all its members.
