Organisation Aims and Activities: LASSN volunteers help asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants at risk to be safe, respected, supported and empowered to rebuild their lives free. We're looking for people to help - Teach English to asylum seekers or refugees who can't get to college or classes, by visiting them in their own homes - Visit an asylum seeker or refugee for two to three hours a week to help them build their confidence, and to make stronger connections with their local neighbourhood - Coordinate our Grace Hosting scheme - by putting volunteers who have a spare room in touch with destitute asylum seekers or refugees who need somewhere to stay
