Organisation Aims and Activities: Our aim is to enable people of all ages and with a wide range of physical and/or learning disabilities to have fun on horseback.Riding is excellent therapy for both mind and body and a wonderful way of learnng new skills and making new friends. Our riders and volunteer helpers come to us from a wide geographcal area. Our instructors are all trained to National RDA standards. Our riders' abilities range from needing a leader and two sidewalkers to competing internationally.Otley and District RDA is just one of five hundred member groups of the Riding for the Disabled Association which was founded in 1969.
