Rothwell and District Historical Society
Organisation Aims and Activities: The society helps preserve, record and research the villages' rich and diverse history. We are committed to publishing research papers, books and articles on a regular basis through RDHS press, the society's publishing arm. The society meets the second Friday in every month in Rothwell Methodist Hall at 7.30pm. We provide a guest speaker every month. There is a membership fee of ?10 for employed, ?8 pensioners and unemployed, under 16s free, visitors are welcome (fee ?1).
