Organisation Aims and Activities: Our Mission Our mission is to assist refugees and immigrants in need, focusing on particular needs of the Somali Families and Individuals living in the West Yorkshire, through partnerships, services and programmes that are timely, culturally appropriate and addresses their concern. Our Value and Principle - a shared philosophy by all members, is that "The success of the community and building its capacity to deal with issues depends to a large extent on how well it takes care of its needy and each other with dignity, respect, and compassion." The Somali Network Association is a broad-based non-profit organization that enjoys very strong community support and is well respected by other service providers as well as funders. The centre was established in 2005 in response to a large influx of Somali newcomers to United Kingdom Initially, it was established to preserve culture and heritage; however, it quickly became apparent that the needs of the community wider ranging
