Thorner Junior Youth Group

Organisation Aims and Activities: Thorner Junior Youth Group is based in the farming and commuter villages on the north-east edge of Leeds and is for local people with the aim of providing a programme of activities to meet their interests and needs. A further aim is to create community focus and an understanding of the community in which they live. The Club (8 - 13 years) runs on Tuesdays from 6.30 - 8.30pm and is affiliated to the West Yorkshire Youth Association. It runs a varied programme including games, snooker, table football, cooking, art projects, quizzes, and outings for ten-pin bowling and ice-skating. .
