Wednesday Afternoon Group

Organisation Aims and Activities: Luncheon club, mainly for the older folk although we also cater for people with a handicap. We are run by volunteers. Lunches are cooked on the premises and consist of a main meal and a pudding, followed by entertainment,domino's, videos and speakers now and then. this is every other week and we keep the price as low as possible because this is looked on by the church as an outreach organisation, we don't pay rent for the room but we do insist on giving a donation every month towards the gas and electricity. We have fourty members and they are brought to the hall by the community bus.
