Carlshead Care Farm is a not-for-profit organisation based on a 500 acre working farm in Lower Wharfedale combining the care of the land and animals with the care of people and offering the opportunity for disadvantaged people to do meaningful work on the farm in a supportive, therapeutic environment. Here are some of the activities you may want to get involved in at Carlshead Care Farm: Feeding, cleaning, handling and checking farm animals; Growing and caring for vegetables and plants in our beautiful walled garden; Processing produce such as apple juicing, baking and jam making; Beekeeping and honey processing; WIldlife and conservation walks; Coppicing and green woodworking in our woods; Bushcraft and wild food foraging; Art, sculpture and music; Fishing.
