Organisation Aims and Activities: A residential community of 25 formerly homeless men and women (known as ?Companions?) who help run a recycling/reuse business with three retail outlets in Leeds. Emmaus work closely with other organisations in the area to support those people who are homeless or trapped by poverty and to help them develop skills and self-respect through working and contributing to a range of community projects.
