Friends of Temple Newsam Park

Organisation Aims and Activities: A group of people from the local community and beyond who are interested in Temple Newsam. The group numbers 246 family memberships. The committee meet every two months at Christ Church Methodist Church, Chapel Street, Halton, Leeds 15 to discuss issues, promotional events, volunteering, social events. There is a very positive relationship between the group and the management and staff at Temple Newsam. Additionally we have close links with councillors and staff of Leeds City Council on matters concerning the park. The group has recently started to meet at 2.00pm in the Stable Courtyard on a Tuesday afternoon for a walk round the Park. Access information applies to Temple Newsam Park, not our contact address. Meetings and most events are wheelchair accessible.
