Organisation Aims and Activities: The Church of Latter-day Saints is a worldwide Christian church meeting the needs of the local members organised as geographical 'Wards' or 'Branches' of up to 500 members. The church is constantly inviting people to accept Jesus Christ and become members. All members receive the support and encouragement through its resources in areas of education, employment, social/emotional, spiritual, health, home-storage and resource management. Members also offer services on a case-by-case basis to meet need in the community and offer financial contributions to the church's Humanitarian Aid Programme. As a public service the church world-wide provide family history centres in selected areas such as our premises at Vesper Road.
