The objects of the Association are to promote classical studies in Leeds and District and in the Yorkshire region, and in particular: (a) to create opportunities for cooperation and discussion among all those in the district who are interested in classical studies; (b) to sponsor lectures on classical and related subjects; (c) to support the study of classical studies in schools; (d) to encourage interest in publicising classical subjects by any other activities as shall be determined from time to time by the Committee or a Business meeting of Members.
