Organisation Aims and Activities: The YMCA's activities reflect our commitment to providing services and opportunities for all people in the community with the focus on young people, in the belief that if you develop young people you build strong future communities where young people truly belong, contribute and thrive. Technically we are a Christian organisation, led by a Christian international movement, with Christianity at the heart of our ethos. We are, however, a truly inclusive movement, dedicated to providing disadvantaged young people with safe places to meet, with stretching activities to try, and opportunities to help them fulfil their ambitions. We are open to everyone, and treat everyone equally. The Osmondthorpe Branch is a Satellite Project, which runs various activities in and around the Osmondthorpe area. The adult education office is based in Osmondthorpe One Stop Centre and various after school activities are delivered in the local schools.
