Mid Yorkshire Fungus Group

Organisation Aims and Activities: The Mid-Yorkshire Fungus group was established in 1993 to explore and record the fungi of Mid-Yorkshire (within a 30 mile radius of Leeds). We organise public forays to interest members of the public in fungi and to promote the conservation of fungi. We hold group forays on most weekends in the Autumn. At our regular indoor meetings we have identification and microscope sessions and talks on many aspects of fungi: from how to recognise them to how to draw them or make paper from them! We're a small and friendly group with experts, beginners and those in between. We welcome all new members.
