Organisation Aims and Activities: Day Treatment Centre for recovering alcoholics and drug addicts. We ae total abstinence based and model our program around the 12 steps. Our Main program can accommodate 24 clients (there is usually a waiting list - to get onto this program you need to have a personal assessment (ring us to make an appointment). The main program is 3 hours per day (midday until 3pm) and 5 days per week (Mon to Fri) for 12 months. We have a Tuesday & Thursday morning program called GOING PLACES and this is accessible to addicts who are on a reducing prescription as well as those not on prescriptions. We also run GROWING ROOMS which is presently held at a DRY hostel Our aim is simply to give struggling clients the "tools of recovery" to allow them to deal with the problems of life without resorting to substances.
