Bethel is a growing Evangelical Church based in Otley and Ilkley. We are a group of people who aim to live our lives with Jesus Christ, our God and Saviour, at the centre of everything. We aim to make the message of Jesus, and the teaching of the Bible, accessible, understandable, relevant and available to everyone. We want to serve the whole community around us in this beautiful part of Wharfedale, Yorkshire which is within easy reach of Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate. BHA Leeds Skyline

Leeds Skyline provides support services for anyone living with or affected by HIV in Leeds. Our team of experienced support workers develop support plans tailored to the individual's needs. We offer emotional support; cognitive behavioural therapy; information and advice regarding a number of issues including treatment; benefits; housing; finances; structured and peer support groups; training and workshops; mental health support and complementary therapies. Our prevention service promote HIV prevention within African communities delivering a number of activities to raise awareness of HIV, reduce the number of new infections and challenge stigma and prejudice. Activities include training, workshops and information sessions; 1-2-1 information and advice, talks, positive speaking and condom distribution.

Billing View Community Group

The group provides activities, events and outings for older people in order to reduce isolation and provide educational and social activities for people in sheltered housing and other local people.. Activities include a computer group teaching basic skills to older people - everyone is welcome. Chair-Based exercise , Photography and all groups are open to everyone in the area, with or without skills. Monthly fish and chip for suppers followed by Bingo and Raffle. Monthly- soup, roll and sweet lunches.

BITMO's GATE

BITMO's GATE is the new resource centre in Belle Isle, opened in October 2013, which offers free daily events, activities and courses for adult learners in the local community to help them into work or volunteering - for example computer classes, arts and crafts groups, social sewing and training courses. It is managed by BITMO - Belle Isle Tenant Management Organisation - which is the local social housing provider, and ?GATE? stands for ?Get Advice Training and Employment??

Black Health Initiative

A community engagement organisation that aims to work with partners for equality in education, health and social care. BHI have health and well-being projects for teenagers, women and men as well as cancer support and counselling services, aimed specifically at minority communities.

Blenheim Baptist Church - Woodhouse

If you call at Blenheim Baptist Church on a Sunday morning, it is difficult to predict who you might meet - being near the two Universities, there are usually a good number of students as well as members who have worshipped at the church for many years. There are also likely to be visitors and people just passing by. We like to think that - whoever comes through the door - everyone receives a warm welcome.

Boggart Hill Action Group

We are a community group set up for the residents to help improve the Boggart Hill area. We have public meetings every 8 to 12 weeks. We look forward to any comments or queries.

Boston Spa Archaeology and Heritage Group

The group organises monthly talks and visits, meeting throughout the year for a range of activities including archaeological fieldwork, excavations, archaeobotany and experimental archaeology. We are based in Boston Spa, but draws members from further afield too. We try to work with local Parish Councils and West Yorkshire Archaeology Service to investigate and record our heritage, and are affiliated to the Council for British Archaeology Yorkshire.

Bramhope Scout Campsite and Activity Centre

Bramhope Campsite provides opportunities for young people, in partnership with adults, to take part in challenging activities in an outdoor environment to develop practical and personal development skills through taking responsibility, making choices and supporting others. Bramhope Campsite isn't exclusive to scouting groups but it's outdoor opportunities are enjoyed by schools, colleges and community groups. Bramhope Campsite is owned by Central Yorkshire County Scouts Association.

We are a friendly, family-centred Church which is evangelical in theology. Bramley Baths

Bramley Baths is a not-for-profit community enterprise. Our aims and objectives are social, community-driven, locally focused, but we?re also keen to meet and work with like-minded individuals, groups and organisations around the world. The purpose, vision and long term aims were written by Friends of Bramley Baths to reflect the views of the individuals who joined together to ensure a future for Bramley Baths as a social enterprise. The purpose of Bramley baths is to: 1. Act as a social hub for the benefit of the community 2. Provide a centre for fitness, fun and well being 3. Enable people to swim and to learn how to swim 4. Bramley Community Centre Luncheon Club

Bramley Community Centre Luncheon Club has been in operation for over 30 years and is a voluntary run independent Luncheon Club providing meals and social interaction for the elderly community in Bramley. For our members we also have a summer outing and also have a special Christmas Lunch at a local venue. Bramley Elderley Action can provide transport (at a cost) to our venue. We are looking to expand our membership and would also welcome volunteers.

Bramley Elderly Action provides opportunities and support for older people, aged 60 and above, in Bramley, Swinnow and parts of Stanningley (West Leeds). We run a range of services to promote the best possible quality of life for older people in the local community. We also manage: Bramley Lawn social centre; Bramley Community Centre, and OWLS (Older, Wiser, Local Seniors, which supports older people in Burley, Hyde Park, Little Woodhouse, Headingley and parts of Kirkstall.)

Brathay Trust

Brathay's purpose is to enable children and young people and their families to make positive choices by taking personal responsibility for improving their wellbeing. Brathay Trust is a charity that improves outcomes for thousands of young people across the United Kingdom. It primarily works with those under 25 who are most disadvantaged or vulnerable, and who have suffered abuse or neglect, social exclusion, or who are outside employment, education and training. Brathay also works with the whole family to ensure that everybody is involved with choices, development and learning. Brathay's vision is of a society where all children and young people have access to formal and informal education enabling them to fulfil their potential. It has an inspirational centre on Lake Windermere for residential experiences.
