Forest Hill is a large Victorian house, with additional purpose-built wings, set in extensive grounds in Roundhay, Leeds, within easy reach of the beautiful Roundhay Park and Canal Gardens. This non-profit making sheltered housing is run by Yorkshire Ladies Council (Hostels) Ltd., a subsidiary of the Yorkshire Ladies' Council of Education.

Foundation Foundation exists to advance social inclusion, providing support to vulnerable people to help maintain tenancies including support with budgeting, accessing benefits, improving physical and mental health, accessing more permanent accommodation and reducing offending behaviour. Services exist for young people (aged 16-25), offenders (aged 16 +), families and single people threatened with homelessness (aged 16 +). Services include floating support for those placed in council-provided emergency accommodation for families and single people and accommodation based and floating support for other customer groups.

Freedom4Girls Freedom4Girls is a UK-registered charity fighting period poverty. We actively support women and girls in both the UK and worldwide, who struggle to access safe sanitary protection by offering not just disposables, but environmentally-friendly, washable re-usables and menstrual cups. Freedom4Girls are involved in a number of campaigns that aim to support in the relief of period poverty. These include: Working in partnership with various organisations to supply those in need with a choice of sanitary products; Assisting in the provision of menstrual education, training and healthcare projects to reduce the impacts of period poverty; Delivering quality menstrual education to tackle stigma and taboo around women?s physical and mental health experiences affected by their period; Commissioning and conducting research on the economic, social and environmental impacts of period poverty in the UK and worldwide, and effectively communicating the results of this research to the public.

Friends of Cross Flatts Park Cross Flatts is an important green space in an inner city area which has undergone extensive regeneration in recent years, turning areas of derelict wasteland into green areas and cleaning up traditional waste dumping sites into an area for use by the community. A popular adventure playground has also been built. The two organisations primarily responsible for this transformation are The Friends of Cross Flatts Park and Beeston in Bloom, two voluntary-run residents groups working to contribute to the regeneration of Beeston.
Friends of Gledhow Valley Wood Objectives are to conserve Gledhow Valley Woods. To protect natural beauty of GHVW. To increase public awareness about GHVW. The concerns of the wider community. To support other groups in the GV area. To liase with appropriate organisations to achieve objectives. The monthly 'Action' mornings include litter picking, creating and repairing footpaths, cut back encroaching foliage and small-scale management activities.
Friends of Holbeck Cemetery The Friends of Holbeck Cemetery is a group that was formed in May 2001 by local residents who were concerned about the decline of a local amenity, since when we have been actively encouraging greater public use of the area as an open space and resource. We are keen to preserve the fascinating Victorian heritage of the cemetery and to provide better maintenance and repair. We are also trying to create a valuable wildlife space and make the cemetery a safe and welcoming place. We are working at increasing the opportunity for lifelong learning and to make a stimulating facility for schools and colleges and a wide range of community groups. We hold regular walks and clean-up days, hold social events for our members and undertake and encourage historical and environmental research in the cemetery and surrounding area.Viewing platform with magnificent views over Leeds and beyond. Friends of Temple Newsam Park A group of people from the local community and beyond who are interested in Temple Newsam. The group numbers 246 family memberships. The committee meet every two months at Christ Church Methodist Church, Chapel Street, Halton, Leeds 15 to discuss issues, promotional events, volunteering, social events. There is a very positive relationship between the group and the management and staff at Temple Newsam. Additionally we have close links with councillors and staff of Leeds City Council on matters concerning the park. The group has recently started to meet at 2.00pm in the Stable Courtyard on a Tuesday afternoon for a walk round the Park. Access information applies to Temple Newsam Park, not our contact address. Meetings and most events are wheelchair accessible.
Fulneck Moravian Church We are a Christian Church at the heart of the historic and beautiful Moravian settlement of Fulneck, situated on the western outskirts of Pudsey. Our worship is open to all and we have a Junior Church for young people that meets at the same time as our regular Sunday morning services. We have a range of regular week night meetings: Men's Fellowship, Moravian Women's Fellowship, Music Society, History Society and Bible Study Group. We have extra activities for young people once a month. Our members run a small museum about the settlement and church that is open on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons, 2.00pm - 4.00pm, from Easter to October. We have a regular organ recital at 11.00am on the first Thursday of each month.

Garforth Jubilee Brass Garforth Jubilee Band is a brass band for all ages and abilities. The organisation holds a training section and a beginners' group 6.30-8.00pm. There are some instruments which are available for hire. Meetings are held at Ninelands Lane Junior School, Ninelands Lane, Garforth on Wednesdays in term time. Our beginners group has tuition from a qualified tutor. The main band perform concerts throughout the year.

Getaway Girls Enable vulnerable young women aged 11-25 to build confidence, develop new skills, and take positive risks through a range of activities in an environment which offers co-operation and support.
Gildersome Baptist Church We are a small congregation with a big mission from God. In March 2010 we refocused our life to make our church a place unchurched people would love to attend. We moved our main teaching to a serious Bible Study on Wednesday's from 7.30pm till 9.00pm and made Sunday morning (10.45am) focused on issues based teaching series of 3 or 4 weeks. Essentially we aim to take features from weekly magazines (relationships, money, dating, parenting, etc.) and show what the Bible says that makes it relevant to the subject. We believe that people need to see the relevance of the Bible for their life before they believe it is God's word. Over the last year we have developed our First Sunday each month as an intergenerational activity event which sees a 50% rise in attendance. We run a tea shop which raises support for the crypt and have a partnership with a Church in San Salvador where we have sent mission teams.

GIPSIL - Archway Counselling Service A regeneration organisation working with disadvantaged neighbourhoods and communities across Leeds, providing support to young people aged 16 - 25 from across Leeds at the Archway Resource Centre on Roundhay Road, and for young people in East Leeds aged 13 ? 19 at The Beck in Killingbeck. Services on offer are counselling, welfare rights advice, employment and training support, housing support (including teenage parent housing support), Connexions personal advisors, general support, activities and group work. Other projects at re?new include employment and construction and housing.
GIPSIL Ltd Supported housing and floating support services to young people who are vulnerable and in need, working with single young people, young families and young people leaving care. GIPSIL also provides volunteering opportunities, welfare advice, support to those seeking employment and to people who are living with, or fleeing domestic violence, in partnership with other organisations. GIPSIL also operate a social enterprise, ELEVATE, a sister project established to bring empty properties back into use for GIPSIL whilst providing training for young people.

Growing Better Growing Better is a social enterprise dedicated to better mental health through growing edible produce. Our urban farm sites provide a therapeutic environment for people facing a range of mental health challenges. There's lots of evidence for the benefits that growing produce can provide for better mental health. To ensure that we remain a sustainable social enterprise we sell the beautiful salad leaves and herbs that our service users grow on our farm to restaurants, cafes, food retailers and caterers, and direct to the public via group salad share schemes. We are additionally developing a range of products based on our core produce including pesto, oil infusions, window ledge/table planters and seed packets.
