St Annes Community Services St Anne?s provides a range of quality services for people who require support for one or more reasons. We work with people who are or have been homeless, who have problems related to substance misuse ? drugs and/or alcohol, who experience mental health problems or who have a learning disability. A number of people we work with require support in relation to more than one of these areas and having a range of service provision enables us to be flexible in our response. Our services include a variety of housing and accommodation based support, day services and community based support. St Anne?s is a major provider of services in Yorkshire and the North East with services in Leeds, Sheffield, Doncaster, Kirklees, Calderdale, North Yorkshire, Wakefield, York, East Yorkshire, Barnsley, Middlesborough, Durham, Seaham, Sunderland, South Tyneside and North Tyneside. St John Ambulance in South and West Yorkshire St John Ambulance teaches people first aid ? about 800,000 last year alone ? so that they can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved. We teach young people in schools and through our activities for young people. We teach people in the workplace and provide first aid products. We teach people in the community. And we teach people who become our volunteers; who offer their skills and time to be the difference right in the heart of their community ? at public events, as first responders or providing back up to local ambulance services.
