On Stage Theatre Arts Academy On Stage Theatre Arts Academy has been established since 2002 and provides a high standard of training in drama, dance, and musical theatre for students aged 5 to 18. Our experienced tutors have a solid track record in the professional theatre. All our students get the chance to perform in one of our two major theatre productions - one of which is a musical. In the past we have presented "The Wind in the Willows", "The Wizard of Oz" and the West Yorkshire premiere of "The Railway Children"-the musical.

Otley and District Riding for the Disabled Association Our aim is to enable people of all ages and with a wide range of physical and/or learning disabilities to have fun on horseback.Riding is excellent therapy for both mind and body and a wonderful way of learnng new skills and making new friends. Our riders and volunteer helpers come to us from a wide geographcal area. Our instructors are all trained to National RDA standards. Our riders' abilities range from needing a leader and two sidewalkers to competing internationally.Otley and District RDA is just one of five hundred member groups of the Riding for the Disabled Association which was founded in 1969. Otley and District Talking Newspaper A service for the blind and patially sighted which provides the local news on a 90 minute audio tape each week. A magazine tape is provided every other month. We are now able to provide a digital recording of the newspaper and magazine. We are a group of volunteers who meet in a studio to record.

Otley Courthouse Otley Courthouse is a unique development run by people in Otley, West Yorkshire. After an eight year development period we transformed a redundant nineteenth century magistrates court into a unique arts and resource centre for our community. We have now been open for 12 years and are open 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm. During that time we offer a range of classes and workshops for ages 3-93. From singing to knitting, dancing to music making, and from theatre to film, there is always something going on at the Courthouse for everyone! Otley Sailing Club We promote dinghy sailing in the West and North Yorkshire regions and also provide sailing, power and safety boat training for members, from absolute beginners to the highest level. We seek to foster a family atmosphere and actively encourage sailing for all ages and abilities. We provide a youth club on Sunday mornings leading to the RYA Junior Sailing Awards. Non members are also welcomed on our courses. We are committed to working with sailors of all abilities, have a Sailability Centre of Excellence award and are an RYA OnBoard Centre offering sailing experiences to young people in the local area. Our substantial clubhouse has changing and shower facilities and fully equipped kitchen. Members sail a variety of dinghies. There are club boats available for hire (subject to suitably qualified sailors). Please check with us for details. A full racing programme operates from March to mid December. Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church - Headingley The Church of Our Lady of Lourdes is situated in Cardigan Road in the heart of one of Leeds' students' residential areas. It was built in the 1920's under the auspices of the Jesuits, but after the Jesuit Fathers moved out in 1947, the church came under the control of the diocese. We are also fortunate in having a Church Hall at Our Lady, and one of its regular uses is as a venue for feeding the homeless on Friday and Sunday evenings. This venture is supported by one extra collection per month in both churches, and by private donations.

Panda Bowmen Archery Club The organisation focuses on archery for all ages with members able to shoot at anytime providing there are no less than 2 people present. Parish Room and Institute known as Bramham Village Hall Bramham Village Hall comprises a main hall, adjacent side hall/supper room, kitchen, bar and stage and is available for use of community groups from Bramham, including Guides, Youth club, dance classes, drama group, Yorkshire Country Women, childrens groups, senior citzens groups and individuals wishing to use it's facilities. Poverty Aid UK Our goal is to bring together the two strands of 'aided-self-help' (care for each other) and 'responsible re-cycling' (care for our world) to create a local and national sub-culture of mutual care and support.In order to 'open the poverty trap', our twin goals of self-help andre-cycling are each split into two further strands: We aim to provide opportunities for the unemployed to gain new skillsand qualifications; We aim to provide free or low cost facilities for members of the local community. Re-cycling aims: We aim to ease the burden of poverty by providing the disadvantaged with easily affordable second-hand household items.
